ITHS welcomes University of Washington President Robert J. Jones

The 2026 ITHS took place in May with a focus on engineering and medicine. The event featured a keynote address from President of the University of Washington, Dr. Robert J. Jones —along with a translational talk from Dr. Tueng Shen, MD, PhD, Associate Dean for Medical Technology Innovation, and inaugural director of the future Kren Engineering-based Medicine Institute (KEMi).
